Pippo Inzaghi has revealed his intention to end his career with Milan, but in the meantime hopes to be back playing before the end of the season.
The veteran striker suffered a serious knee injury earlier in the campaign, which required surgery and it was initially thought that his season was over.
Interviewed on Kalispera, Inzaghi said: "I hope to return before the end of the season. Jose Mourinho calls me every three or four days to check on my condition.
"I will close my career in red and black."
Asked about Milan's title chances, he said: "I knew that we were a great group and that we would entertain."
Finally, Inzaghi gave his reaction to reports linking Antonio Cassano with a move to the club.
"If you come to Milan you soon understand that you must behave in a certain way because there are great players here," he concluded."
