Genoa President Enrico Preziosi has made it clear that he wouldn’t hesitate in re-signing Diego Milito of Inter.
“Our doors are not open for him, they are wide open for him,” Preziosi told the Corriere Mercantile on Thursday.
Milito, who Preziosi signed in 2003 and then again in 2008, has been linked with a return to the Stadio Ferraris.
He’s had a problematic last 18 months at San Siro and after four goals in 16 games this term, he’s being paired with numerous clubs – including the Grifone.
“Without a centre-forward who is able to do important things then it will be difficult for us to score goals,” Preziosi continued.
“Unfortunately our problems in attack are clear and it is therefore useless to continue talking about it.”
