Prandelli: 'Italians can progress'

Italy Coach Cesare Prandelli is confident Milan, Napoli and Inter can progress in the Champions League. “They have the right mentality.”

Serie A is the only League with three remaining representatives in the final 16. Milan take on Arsenal, Napoli face Chelsea and Inter have Olympique Marseille.

“I am certain the Italian teams have a great chance of going through, quite aside from the prestige of their opponents,” said Prandelli.

“So far they have shown good capabilities, as our sides are growing in terms of mentality and attacking approach, especially away from home.

“You can also tell a consolidated identity in the way they control the field.”

In the Europa League, Lazio take on Atletico Madrid, while Udinese face PAOK.
