Stefano Colantuono “would give blood” for Atalanta to get at least four points from Fiorentina and Cesena.
The Orobici hope to go into the Christmas break with some solid results, starting from tonight’s clash with the Tuscans.
“Would I be happy with four points from the two games before Christmas? Of course, I would give blood to help that happen!” said the Coach.
“I still have to make some decisions on the starting XI, especially as we have another big game coming up on Wednesday.
“It’s likely there will be more spaces against Fiorentina, so these look like different tactical challenges. I am considering both matches and what we need to do overall.
“The Viola probably expected to have a different season, but there they are fighting it out in mid-table with us,” continued Colantuono.
“There is going to be a fiery atmosphere, as they need points and have a squad with great individual talents, but we will not change our attitude.
“In January we will be facing some much stronger sides, but let us also not forget we fought on level terms with Inter, Udinese and Napoli.”
