Montella wants Palermo present

Vincenzo Montella believes Catania will be more motivated to give their fans a special moment in the derby against Palermo.

“We want to win this match to give ourselves a gift and one for our fans too, as they haven’t seen us get some great results on home turf this season,” said the Coach.

“We are fully concentrated on our opponents, who have real quality,” added Montella.

Palermo are fresh from a shock 1-0 home defeat to Cesena and their midweek Coppa Italia exit at the hands of Siena, so will also be eager to turn the tide.

The Elefantini are without the suspended Nicolas Spolli, while David Suazo, Mariano Izco and Mariano Biagianti require fitness tests.
