Milan squad to face Cagliari

Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri has named a 22-man squad for Tuesday’s Serie A game at Cagliari.

Allegri, who bossed the Sardinian outfit before his switch to San Siro in 2010, is looking to take his side back to the top of the table.

Milan are currently two points behind leaders Juventus who will play at Udinese on Wednesday evening.

The Rossoneri are still without first choice right-back Ignazio Abate, but goalkeeper Christian Abbiati could return to the starting XI.

Goalkeepers: Abbiati, Amelia, Piscitelli.

Defenders: Antonini, Bonera, De Sciglio, Ely, Mexes, Taiwo, Thiago Silva, Zambrotta.

Midfielders: Ambrosini, Aquilani, Boateng, Emanuelson, Nocerino, Seedorf, Van Bommel.

Attackers: El Shaarawy, Ibrahimovic, Pato, Robinho.
