Bologna’s Marco Di Vaio insists there is no disgrace in losing to Roma. “Perhaps they’re the most in-form side in Italy right now.”
The Giallorossi collected a 2-0 victory at the Dall’Ara on Wednesday in their re-arranged Week 1 tie and the former Lazio player was left impressed.
“Roma started the game really strongly and we knew that they would cause us trouble,” the Italian noted.
“At this moment in time, they are perhaps the most in-form side in Italy.
“We really struggled and suffered in the first period, but we improved after the break which saw us cope better against them.”
Roma are now joint sixth in the table after initially struggling under new boss Luis Enrique.
Since their 3-0 loss at Fiorentina, they subsequently drew 1-1 with Juventus, while beating Napoli 3-1 and Bologna 2-0.
