Napoli have officially signed Eduardo Vargas, but it’s reported they will swoop for two Czech defenders in January as well.
On Friday President Aurelio De Laurentiis confirmed the deal was done to bring in forward Vargas from Universidad De Chile for around €10m.
According to Tuttosport, there are other targets in the pipeline to reinforce the squad ahead of their Champions League clash with Chelsea.
The first is 26-year-old Czech defender Michal Kadlec, who is currently plying his trade on the right with Bayer Leverkusen.
Another is also a Czech international, Tomas Sivok, whose contract with Besiktas expires in June.
