Marco Parolo could be Udinese’s January midfield reinforcement with a knock-on effect for Cesena and Fiorentina.
The Friulani are through to the knockouts of the Europa League and remain in the hunt for the Winter Champion title in Serie A.
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the club has pinpointed Italian international Parolo as the primary target for a mid-season signing.
He could be prised away from struggling Cesena for €5m plus ownership of winger Giovanni Pasquale.
This may well have a knock-on effect, as Cesena want Fiorentina’s Gianni Munari as a replacement.
