Italian champions Milan have suggested that they would be willing to loan Stephen El Shaarawy to Serie B leaders Torino.
The attacker, co-owned with Genoa, moved to Milanello during the summer but has struggled to feature regularly.
A temporary move away from San Siro has been mentioned as a possibility for January in order to give the 19-year-old more playing time.
“If we decide to move the kid then there would be nothing to stop him from joining Torino – even if they are in Serie B,” Milan director Ariedo Braida told Tuttosport.
“After all, President Urbano Cairo is also a friend.”
El Shaarawy, born to an Italian mother and Egyptian father, has scored one goal in seven Serie A appearances so far this season.
He caught the eye last term in the Italian Second Division after netting nine times in 29 games for Padova.
