Iaquinta could stay at Juve

Vincenzo Iaquinta’s agent has looked to soften rumours of the striker’s transfer out of Juventus, hinting that he may stay beyond January.

Talking to Sky Sport 24, representative Andrea D’Amico commented on speculation surrounding his client’s future in Turin. The 32-year-old has been linked with a number of clubs including Cagliari and Lecce, but D’Amico believes it is not a sure bet that he will leave this month.

“Vincenzo is fine for now. For the future, we will see, there’s no news, he is a Juventus player and has a contract for another year and a half.

“The Coach makes the decisions but the important thing is that he has recovered 100 per cent.

“There are many players at Juve, but it is difficult to answer now on market moves, which usually resolve at the end of January.”
