Turin based Tuttosport is suggesting that Roma could make a January bid for Juventus striker Amauri.
The Giallorossi are being linked with a new attacker this month given the events of the last 48 hours in Rome.
The club firstly allowed Marco Borriello to join Juventus on loan for the rest of the season, then Pablo Daniel Osvaldo was ruled out for two months with an injury.
As a result, sporting director Walter Sabatini is looking around for a reinforcement and Amauri is available.
The Brazilian-born Italian international will leave Juve this month given that he hasn’t played a single minute so far this season and his contract expires in June 2012.
Amauri, who was targeted by Genoa before they signed Alberto Gilardino this week, is understood to be a target for Fiorentina.
Roma, who are also being linked with Fabio Quagliarella, could tempt Juve into a deal by offering playmaker David Pizarro as part of any potential agreement.
