Juventus reportedly met with the agent of Manchester City full-back Aleksandar Kolarov on Wednesday.
Director general Beppe Marotta, according to Tuttosport, yesterday discussed the player with his representative Sergio Berti.
The Old Lady official is busy looking for reinforcements and the club do have a weakness in that area.
Boss Antonio Conte has two recognised left-backs in the squad – Paolo De Ceglie and Fabio Grosso. However, he’s used centre-back Giorgio Chiellini in that role for most of the season so far.
Kolarov, 26, is a Serbian international who joined City in the summer of 2010 after three years at Lazio.
However, it’s unclear how high the player is on Juve’s wish-list given that their top target seems to be Sevilla defender Martin Caceres.
Meanwhile, Grosso is today being associated with a January move to relegation-threatened Lecce.
