Massimo Moratti has admitted defeat in Inter’s pursuit of Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez and believes that the Argentine will now join Milan.
The Nerazzurri reportedly contacted and agreed a fee with Man City for the striker earlier this month, whilst the player and his advisor agreed personal terms with Milan’s Adriano Galliani.
Reports today place Galliani as arriving in England to counter Inter’s accepted bid and as Moratti admitted this afternoon, it now looks like the final advantage is with Il Diavolo.
“I think Tevez will go to Milan,” answered the President when quizzed by journalists outside his offices in the city. “That’s football.”
