Surgery fear for Stankovic

There may be some bad news on the horizon for Inter as midfielder Dejan Stankovic reportedly requires surgery.

Stories emanating from Serbia are suggesting that the player needs to go under the knife to sort out an Achilles’ tendon problem.

The player has undergone a series of tests, including an MRI scan, which seem to suggest that an operation is a necessity.

Stankovic, 33, has only made 10 League appearances so far this season and he has yet to score for the Nerazzurri.
