The agent of Angelo Palombo has dismissed reports of an agreement between Sampdoria and Fiorentina for his client.
Rumours in Italy are claiming that the midfielder is on the verge of a return to the Viola amidst reports that Doria have accepted €4m and Gianni Munari in return.
“It’s not true that there is already a deal between Fiorentina and Sampdoria for Palombo,” Tullio Tinti told Viola News.
“I deny that claim. These stories have just been invented. There is no agreement, but people are free to say whatever they want…”
Palombo, club captain, stayed loyal to the port outfit in the summer following their relegation from Serie A.
However, the outfit have intimated that they are ready to sacrifice the Italian international before the January transfer window closes.
