Forgotten Juventus defender Marco Motta has reportedly rejected a January move to Serie A strugglers Novara.
The relegation-threatened side had shown an interest in the right-back who hasn’t played a single minute for Juve this term.
The Old Lady are ready to release him this month and a switch to Piedmont rivals Novara had emerged as an option.
Nevertheless, it is being claimed on Friday that the 25-year-old has no interest in moving to the Stadio Piola.
Motta has also been linked with clubs in Spain and England.
Juventus signed Motta on loan from Udinese in the summer of 2010 for €1.25m. They then completed his capture last summer by handing over a further €3.75m.
First team football in Turin this term has been blocked by summer signing Stephan Lichtsteiner.
