Lazio are reportedly edging closer to Keisuke Honda after CSKA Moscow cut the price-tag to €14m.
The Biancocelesti flew out to Russia for talks last week and the original gap between €10m offer and €16m demand has been drastically reduced.
“I have spoken about Honda to the Lazio directors,” confirmed CSKA Moscow President Yevgeny Giner.
“The negotiations are in progress, but so far we have not reached an agreement. We’ll see what happens over the next few days, but I certainly can’t say the deal is practically done.”
According to Sky Sport Italia this afternoon, Lazio raised their proposal to €14m and could secure the Japanese international midfielder very soon.
