Lazio have reportedly agreed a deal with CSKA Moscow to sign Keisuke Honda for €12.5m plus Juan Pablo Carrizo.
The Biancocelesti confirmed negotiations were on-going for the Japanese international midfield and last night rumours emerged the two clubs were getting closer to an agreement.
According to lalaziosiamonoi.it, the key to the transfer has been found in the form of goalkeeper Carrizo.
CSKA would be willing to release Honda for €12.5m cash plus the Argentina international who is still owned by Lazio, but never really settled at the Olimpico.
Since 2009 Carrizo has been on loan at Zaragoza and then River Plate.
It is also claimed that Honda has agreed to lower his wages in order to help push through the move.
