Siena Coach Giuseppe Sannino had some complaints about a controversial penalty incident in their defeat to Fiorentina.
The Tuscans were beaten 2-1 by local rivals Fiorentina, but saw Franco Brienza booked for simulation in a coming together with Manuel Pasqual.
“It was still 1-0 at the time and the game could’ve changed at that point,” said the tactician.
“Today we weren’t determined or fiery enough in a match we all really wanted to win. For some reason, we lacked our usual sporting ardour.
“It was a shame we conceded so early from Stevan Jovetic, as we really should be able to close down opportunities like that.
“Our away record is not good, that is just a fact, but we must improve if we are to survive in Serie A.”
