Antonio Candreva is unlikely to join Champions League outfit Napoli from Cesena before the January transfer window closes.
The Azzurri like the look of the versatile midfielder, but there is a hurdle to overcome – and it is not a time issue.
“There is still today and tomorrow to negotiate,” representative Federico Pastorello told Radio Marte Sport Live.
“However, I think the chances of a transfer to Napoli are remote for Candreva. The Azzurri want him on loan, but the player won’t accept such an option.”
Candreva, an Italian international, is looking for something more permanent after he was loaned to Juventus, Parma and Cesena while on Udinese’s books.
