Lazio have made no move to sign Angelo Palombo from Sampdoria, the midfielder’s agent has underlined.
Reports this morning were suggesting that the Italian international could move to Rome before the transfer window closes.
“I’m not aware of anything with Lazio,” representative Tullio Tinti is quoted as saying. “There has been no meeting and I haven’t spoken with anyone from the capital club.
“His future? We’ll see what will happen.”
Palombo has been linked with a January exit just months after committing himself to Doria following their relegation to Serie B.
The 30-year-old has also been paired with Napoli, Juventus and Fiorentina.
