Novara have reportedly decided to sack boss Attilio Tesser and Emiliano Mondonico could be his replacement.
Stories emerging from Italy are suggesting that the bottom of the table club will soon confirm that Tesser has been axed.
Novara have won just twice all season and they are seven points adrift of safety in the Italian top flight.
Tesser is somewhat of a legend at the club after he masterminded consecutive promotions from the Third Division to Serie A.
Whispers this morning suggested that Giuseppe Papadopulo could be a possible replacement for Tesser.
However, it now appears that Mondonico is an objective. The 64-year-old hasn’t worked since he resigned at Albinoleffe in June after battling cancer.
