Kevin Constant will not be leaving Genoa for Serie A rivals Fiorentina before the transfer window closes this evening.
The midfielder has been paired with a switch to the Viola, but his representative has told Sky Sport Italia that the player is going nowhere.
“He is part of Genoa’s future,” Fabio Parisi noted. “He’s an important player and it would be difficult for him to move anytime soon.
“After all, Genoa paid quite a bit to sign him from Chievo.”
The 24-year-old moved to Marassi in the summer after his revelation campaign at Chievo Verona in 2010-11.
