Marco Motta has asked his Catania teammates to continue where they left off against Genoa when taking on Juventus.
The two teams meet in Turin next weekend and the Sicilian side are on a high after their 4-0 demolition of the Marassi outfit.
“Juventus deserve the League position they have in the table,” the defender noted. “It certainly won’t be easy to take them on, but we have to put in a repeat performance from the weekend.”
Motta knows Juve well given that he left Turin for Catania during the January transfer window.
“It was a great game for us,” continued the Italian international right-back. “And I’m really happy with the three points against Genoa.
“On a personal level, I’m happy that I have returned to playing even if my physical condition is still not at its best.”
The former Udinese right-back, signed outright by Juve in the summer, didn’t play a single minute under Antonio Conte for the Old Lady this term.
