Anzhi sack Coach for Capello?

Reports linking Fabio Capello with an immediate return to management are gathering pace as Russian side Anzhi sack their current Coach.

In office for little over a month, Yuri Krasnozhan has now been sacked by the Dagestan outfit. The news was confirmed today by billionaire owner Suleiman Kerimov, whilst the reasons for the quick split will curiously not be disclosed to the media.

The move, however, will encourage reports linking former Milan, Roma and Juventus boss Capello with the position.

Rumours in recent days have placed Anzhi officials as being in Italy looking into the possibility of Capello’s  appointment, whilst a representative of the tactician’s confirmed that he is both ‘open to offers’ and unlikely to be coaching next in the peninsula.

Capello only resigned as England manager last Wednesday.
