Sulley Muntari has revealed his delight in recently completing a cross-town transfer from Inter to rivals Milan this January.
The Ghanaian international, who represented his country in this year’s Africa Cup of Nations, was speaking for the first time to the media on Thursday as a Rossoneri player, after the winter switch.
“I am very excited to have passed from Inter to Milan,” the former Udinese man declared.
“It is incredible and a major step forward for my career. This team is unique, one of the best in the world.
“I arrive with much enthusiasm to do well and win. I will do my job and the Coach will then decide where to play me, but I’m totally available.
“Am I in the best team in Italy? No, I’m in the best team in the world.”
Muntari has chosen the No 14 shirt, reportedly in honour of former Diavolo man George Weah.
