Napoli are not one of the many clubs interested in Genoa and Italy full-back Domenico Criscito, his agent has revealed.
The Azzurri have been linked with the left-back in recent times, but Andrea D'Amico has rubbished that link.
"I actually spoke with Napoli only yesterday and this apparent interest was not even mentioned," D'Amico noted. "As a result, I feel I can dismiss the story.
"It's hard to predict what will happen in the transfer market, but I can say that there is some important interest in Criscito.
"When the right time arrives then I will sit down with Genoa President Enrico Preziosi and evaluate the most interesting and concrete offers."
It's understood that Zenit St Petersburg, bossed by Luciano Spalletti, are very keen on the 2010 World Cup player.
