Luis Enrique praised Roma for their performance against Parma, even though “we still lack consistency.”
The Giallorossi are wildly different on home turf and wasted dozens of chances in today’s 1-0 victory at the Olimpico.
“I am very happy with the three points and the squad did very well today, even when defending,” said the Coach.
“We barely allowed Parma anything, despite their best efforts. We still lack consistency, though, as that is what’s missing now.
“We need the right attitude and I believe we’ve made big steps forward compared to the opening 10 rounds of the season.
“What do we need to be consistent? That’s the million dollar question… Now we have to go forward and face a very difficult trip to Atalanta.
“I am optimistic and we are all waiting for the derby with Lazio. I expect to win it.”
Fabio Borini scored the winning goal and his sixth of the season matches his personal best achieved with Swansea City.
“Borini has surprised me and I’m happy for him. Age does not matter, the important things are his hunger and his quality.”
