Milan teenager Stephan El Shaarawy has been added to the Italian Under-21 squad for this week’s friendly against France.
The forward has been selected by boss Ciro Ferrara after Roma youngster Fabio Borini was promoted to the full squad yesterday.
The Azzurrini will play France in Cannes on Tuesday, while the full side will come up against the USA on Wednesday in Genoa.
El Shaarawy is still just 19 and has one U-21 cap to his name. In 14 Serie A games this season, he has netted two goals.
