Edy Reja says that Lazio must now look forward after the chaotic last few days in the Italian capital. “I often argue with Presidents.”
The tactician looked to be on his way out of the club after offering his resignation on Wednesday afternoon.
It seemed as if Gianfranco Zola would be replacing him at the Stadio Olimpico, only for Reja and the Biancocelesti to then make peace.
“The topic of my future is closed,” he told Sky Sport Italia after the side beat Fiorentina 1-0 at the Stadio Olimpico. “Let’s bury the hatchet and move on.
“I often argue with Presidents, but after such arguments a stronger bond of friendship can be formed.
“Zola? We know each other, we talk in the week, and I’d like to see him get a job in the Italian championship and with a big team – maybe even with Lazio one day.”
