Massimo Moratti has ‘cleared things up’ with Claudio Ranieri, seemingly confirming the Inter Coach another stay of execution.
Speculation surrounding the former Juventus and Roma tactician’s future was again mounting after last weekend saw the team suffer its seventh defeat from the last eight games played.
With just one point collected from the last 18 available in the League, President Moratti indicated early on Monday that he was evaluating Ranieri’s position, but some 24 hours on, the situation has cooled.
“Yes, I’ve spoken to him, don’t worry,” commented Moratti outside his offices in Milan on Tuesday afternoon.
When asked if he had cleared things up with the Coach, the President confirmed: “Yes we have.”
