Milito: 'Inter need unity'

Diego Milito tells Inter they can emerge from this crisis, “but we need unity. The club, team and fans must work together to get through this.”

The Nerazzurri have lost seven of their last eight official outings, including four Serie A games on the trot, and haven’t scored since January.

“We are not going through an easy time, but I can swear the players always give 100 per cent,” Milito told Inter Channel.

“We need unity. The club, team and fans must work together to get through this. In difficult moments we have never shied away from responsibility.

“On a personal level I am fine, but the same cannot be said about the team, so my own form is less important.

“We want to emerge from this situation as soon as possible, hopefully on Sunday against Catania. It would be important to pick up three points.

“The fans ask us to win and return to the success of the past. We want that too, with all our strength. We’re the first to be upset by all these problems.

“In any case, I am sure the support of our fans will never be lacking.”
