Cavani aims high at Napoli

Edinson Cavani has outlined his ambition to win prestigious silverware with Napoli in the coming years.

The Uruguay international striker has played a big part in Napoli being second in Serie A at the winter break.

"The first half of the season has been very positive," he said. "We are getting big results game after game.

"It's the fruit of our very tough daily work. The Napoli fans want players who put there spirit into it and always fight for the shirt on the pitch.

"I hope to fight for prestigious objectives with this club.

"Diego Armando Maradona, the greatest player of all time played for Napoli. The fans want the maximum as well as players of quality.

"Palermo supporters are passionate, but the Napoli ones are unique," he concluded.
