Reports suggest Alessandro Del Piero could become David Beckham’s teammate next season at the LA Galaxy.
His contract expires with Juventus in June and the legend has already stated he will likely move abroad to finish his career.
“He is attracted to the experience in America,” said Mediaset pundit Gianni Balzarini on Radiomercato.
“As he is a fan of the Lakers basketball team, it’s likely he will go to Los Angeles for the Galaxy.
“They’d give him a huge amount of money, but obviously that is not the reason for his move to the MLS.”
Several Italian veterans are now moving to the MLS, as Matteo Ferrari joined Montreal Impact and could soon be followed by Bernardo Corradi. The Canadian club plays in the MLS against American teams.
