Parma have intimated that they may show an interest in signing Fiorentina striker Amauri at the end of the season.
The Brazilian-born Italian international joined the Viola in January from Juventus, but only signed a six-month contract.
“I greeted him after the game against Fiorentina in midweek,” Parma President Tommaso Ghirardi stated. “It’s always a pleasure to see him.
“His contract is set to expire and we’ll think about things at the end of the campaign. Let’s see what happens.”
The Stadio Tardini outfit signed the centre-forward, now 31, in January 2011 on loan and he responded with seven goals in 11 Serie A games.
In six games for Fiorentina, the South American has yet to score.
