Stefan Radu may be a transfer target for Chelsea, Barcelona, Napoli, Juventus and Manchester City, but says he's “negotiating a Lazio renewal.”
The Romanian full-back is hot property during the January window and linked to Europe's top clubs.
“I don't know how true these stories are and whether these clubs are interested in me, but now we are negotiating a Lazio renewal and I hope to remain here,” he told Sport.Ro in his homeland.
A meeting had already been held to discuss a new contract in October and another summit is set in the next few days.
Radu's current contract expires in June 2012, but he hopes to extend until 2015.
President Claudio Lotito also pointed out today that the full-back "is not for sale."
