Serie A stars for Brazil Olympics

A host of Serie A stars are in the long-list of players set for Brazil’s 2012 Olympics campaign, including Julio Cesar, Thiago Silva and Alexandre Pato.

Coach Mano Menezes can count on anyone born after January 1 1989 and has released a long-list of 52 players, which will eventually be reduced to 23.

Among the familiar faces to Serie A are Inter’s Julio Cesar, Philippe Coutinho and Juan Jesus, Milan stars Pato and Thiago Silva, Lazio midfielder Hernanes and Novara defender Gabriel Silva.
