Kharja closes in on Napoli move

Genoa playmaker Houssine Kharja looks set to complete a move to Napoli in the January transfer window.

Il Corriere dello Sport understands both parties are very close to an agreement.

Napoli are keen to add a player of technical ability to their midfield, especially in light of Luca Cigarini's move to Sevilla in the summer.

The latest reports suggest only a few details are what's holding back a formal announcement confirming the deal.

If Kharja does arrive at the San Paolo he will become Napoli's second piece of business in the space of a few weeks.

Earlier this month, Aurelio De Laurentiis agreed to sign Estudiantes centre-back Federico Fernandez, although he will only join the club at the end of the season.
