Jose Mourinho says it will feel like home when he takes the bench at San Siro on Wednesday evening for Real Madrid's Champions League match against Milan.
The Special One spent two years in charge of Inter and won a historic treble last season.
"Going back to San Siro is just like going home," Mourinho smiled.
"It's a shame that it is Milan versus Real Madrid. It's a shame that we are not playing against Inter.
"I would be really happy to thank the Inter fans again in the stadium for everything that they gave me in two splendid years."
Mourinho's record against Milan is excellent. In his last three encounters with the Rossoneri, the aggregate score is 8-0.
