Bologna Coach Alberto Malesani is perilously close to the sack after falling out with Sergio Porcedda, the club's new owner.
Porcedda was extremely disappointed after Sunday's 2-0 defeat to Cagliari, partly because he is of Sardinian descent and saw the match as a personal derby.
"I am furious," he said. "We can't always wait to concede a goal to start to play."
La Gazzetta dello Sport understands Bologna's performance against Lecce this weekend could prove decisive in determining Malesani's future.
Porcedda has called a Press silence until Saturday's match at the Dall'Ara, which even at this stage of the season could be considered to be a relegation six-pointer.
Bologna have already sacked one Coach in the current campaign, dismissing Franco Colomba on the eve of their opening game against Inter.
Porcedda is under considerable pressure after making a number of late payments relating to his takeover and the day-to-day running of the club.
