Federico Macheda's international transfer has come through, so he could make his Sampdoria debut against Roma, while Fiorentina sign Norberto Murara Neto.
The deal had been struck to bring Macheda in on loan from Manchester United earlier this week, but the international transfer only came through today.
Samp confirmed the news on their official website and “the player has taken the number 41 shirt. He is at the complete disposal of Coach Domenico Di Carlo, starting from tomorrow's game against Roma.”
It will be his Serie A debut, as Macheda left the Lazio youth academy before he could sign a professional contract.
In other transfer news, Fiorentina have officially signed Brazilian goalkeeper Neto from Atletico Parananese.
The 22-year-old shot-stopper cost approximately €3m.
Cesena have confirmed the arrival of two January buys. Goalkeeper Alex Calderoni comes in from Atletico Roma and defender Paolo Hernan Dellafiore makes the loan move from Palermo.
Dellafiore had been playing with Parma this season, but switches the next six months of his loan deal to the Stadio Manuzzi.
