A report in this morning's Il Corriere dello Sport claims Francesco Totti is considering leaving Roma after falling out with Claudio Ranieri.
The talismanic captain is said to have grown disillusioned at the treatment he has received this season, which reached a low point against Sampdoria on Sunday.
With Roma 2-1 down, Ranieri waited until stoppage time to bring on Totti who reportedly fired a broadside to the bench.
Il Corriere claims Totti is unusually silent, having rescheduled his monthly column with the Rome-based newspaper.
His grievance lies in that he no longer feels like a protagonist at the club and would like to finish his career as a regular.
Totti has a four-year contract with Roma as a player, which then carries over as a director.
La Gazzetta dello Sport has also hinted that Totti was upset that Roma didn't let Adriano return to Brazil, so as to reduce the competition for places up front.
