Cagliari striker Robert Acquafresca aims to keep his place in the starting line up after scoring a brace against Parma at the weekend.
The 23-year-old has started half of Cagliari's games this season amid competition from Nene and Alessandro Matri.
"I am not presumptuous. I am not asking for a place as a regular," Acquafresca said. "I know that there is great competition.
"Matri and Nene are two good attackers, but it's right this way. It's part of football. It's up to us to train to the best of our abilities and respect the Coach's decisions.
"It's true that here in Cagliari I have always ended the season in double figures. Now I hope to score many other goals.
"I am not giving myself an objective. I am superstitious. But now I want to put this brace behind me and concentrate on Palermo.
"We are playing at home in front of our fans and we want to do well. We are a good group of players. This Cagliari can still surprise people."
