Lazio's mascot, the American eagle known as Olimpia, has been ruled out of this weekend's Rome derby.
The local authority feels it would be a risk to public order and that Olimpia could get distressed in such a hostile environment where flares and paper bombs are often let off.
It's a blow to Lazio who now consider Olimpia to be a good luck charm seeing as her arrival has coincided with the club topping the table in Serie A.
There is already a debate as to who will be missed more on Sunday: Olimpia or Francesco Totti?
Lazio haven't lost at home since Claudio Lotito bought the eagle in the summer.
She does three laps of the pitch while the club song is playing in the build-up to matches at the Olimpico.
