Juventus' problems continue to mount as new signing Luca Toni has been ruled out for a month with a knee injury.

The 33-year-old had to come off after just 18 minutes in last night's Coppa Italia clash with Catania in Turin.

He underwent a series of tests this morning, which revealed a tear to the collateral ligament of his right knee.

Juventus' medical staff have prescribed a month on the sidelines for Toni, leaving Gigi Del Neri short of strikers again.

Last week Fabio Quagliarella suffered a season-ending knee injury, prompting Juventus to open the cheque book.

Alessandro Del Piero also suffered a slight contusion to his left knee and is a doubt for Sunday's match against Bari.
