Cesena tactician Massimo Ficcadenti feels the Francesco Totti controversy hasn't weakened Roma, “it fired them up.”
The week has been spent analysing why Claudio Ranieri only introduced his captain during stoppages in the 2-1 defeat at Sampdoria.
“It is going to be a very interesting game, as Roma come into it from a fired-up psychological stand-point after the defeat to Samp and the Totti saga.
“We must absolutely not get the wrong approach to this game, as that will be the key to success or failure.
“Of all the top teams, Roma are the most inconsistent and therefore unpredictable,” continued Ficcadenti.
“They concede very little at the Olimpico and we earned a point there back in Week 1. Away from home they tend to fluctuate a great deal.
“It is up to us to defend with solidity, pile on the pressure and be aggressive so we can burst out into quick counter-attacks.”
