Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli has told Milan patron Silvio Berlusconi that he is wrong to consider Antonio Cassano the best Italian footballer.
It's no secret that the 20-year-old would like to play for Milan in the future. After all, he has supported the club since his childhood.
Interviewed for the inaugural issue of La Gazzetta dello Sport's new supplement Extra Time, Balotelli was asked for his reaction to Berlusconi's comments that Cassano is the best Italian talent.
"He is wrong," Super Mario said. "Or he doesn't know Balotelli."
However, the Italy international then played down talk of a swift return to Italy.
"It's too soon. For this year and the next I am staying at City where I am very happy. And anyway, sorry, but what do you think about Balotelli, Tevez and Dzeko? Are we really that poor? Do you see any better [strikeforce] in the world? I don't. Not even at Barcelona and Real."
