Andrea Barzagli's proposed January move to Juventus is in doubt after Wolfsburg claimed that he will remain with the German club.
The 2006 World Cup winner has been heavily associated with the Old Lady given that he has less than six months to go on his current contract.
However, director general Dieter Hoeness has told a German newspaper that Barzagli is going nowhere.
"Andrea Barzagli is our player and he'll continue to be for the rest of the season," the Wolfsburg official noted.
"Wolfsburg have received no transfer request from the player and no offer from Juventus for our defender."
