Gaetano D'Agostino has underlined his commitment to Fiorentina amid interest from a whole host of Italian clubs.
The 28-year-old has made just eight starting appearances since his arrival at the Artemio Franchi in the summer.
However, his progress has been hampered by injury and he remains very much in Sinisa Mihajlovic's first team plans.
"I know that Genoa tried to get me, but I want to stay and would do so even if Milan, Inter and especially Juve came in for me, seeing what happened over a year ago.
"I don't want to move from here.
"I have never regretted my decision to join Fiorentina despite this season which has been quite delicate up until now.
"Florence has been love at first sight, so much so that my wife and I have decided to stay and live here for ever even after my playing career.
"Certain rumours on the transfer market give me pleasure. They mean that I am respected outside of Florence.
"However, I would like to stay here because I want to do great things with Fiorentina."
